What Is the $BANANA Token Used For? Rewards, Cashback, Burns

BANANA is the Banana Gun token. See what the docs say it does: holding rewards, cashback paid in BANANA, burning for Banana Credits, plus the tokenomics table.

BANANA is the token behind Banana Gun, and the docs describe three uses: holding it to qualify for token holding rewards, receiving it as the payout for cashback, and burning it for in-bot Banana Credits.

The rewards dashboard also shows holding more BANANA as a way to boost your rewards.

Every figure below comes from the official Banana Gun docs. Where the docs say nothing, this post says nothing.

How do BANANA holding rewards work?

The current Banana Gun manual puts it this way: "Hold at least 50 BANANA to become eligible for token holding rewards. Rewards are calculated in 24-hour epochs."

The same page opens with the bigger picture: "Banana Gun offers several types of rewards based on your trading activity and for holding BANANA." So holding is one of several reward types, not the only one.

The docs do not give a reward size or a payout method for holding rewards. You will not find a percentage here because the source does not publish one.

Is cashback paid in BANANA?

Yes. The Rewards page states: "Earn cashback on all trades based on your lifetime trading volume. Cashback is displayed in USD and claimed in BANANA on Ethereum."

So BANANA is what you receive here, not what you spend.

The cashback rate depends on your lifetime trading volume:

Table: Lifetime trading volume, Cashback

The tier is set by lifetime trading volume. For what the bot charges on each trade, see the Banana Gun fees breakdown.

Are free trades a BANANA reward?

They are listed next to BANANA on the Rewards page, but as a separate reward. The docs say you "receive monthly free trade credits that provide 100% cashback on eligible trades."

They apply to simple trades between $25 and $50,000. They do not apply to limit orders, copy trades, or DCA orders.

Streaks add more credits for qualifying daily trading activity: 7 days gives +1, 14 days gives +3, and 30 days gives +6.

How do boosts show up on the rewards dashboard?

The Rewards panel in the bot has a button that opens the Rewards Dashboard in Banana Gun Pro. Open it at dashboard.bananagun.io/rewards.

The dashboard has a line for BANANA holdings. Its text reads: "Hold more $BANANA to boost your rewards." Next to it you see your current rewards listed as referral boost, cashback and free trades.

The docs do not publish the levels behind that boost, so this post does not guess at them. Check your own dashboard to see where you stand.

What does burning BANANA do?

Burning BANANA is the one way the docs describe using it up. The docs state: "In our bot, you can find Banana Credits, where users can burn $BANANA to receive in-bot credits, which can be exchanged for extra services (e.g., additional wallets)."

Banana Credits appear in the token docs but not in the current Telegram manuals, so check the bot menu to see whether the option is available to you.

The docs also look ahead: "In the future, we will introduce additional features to our Banana Ecosystem that require holding or burning $BANANA to use, decreasing supply." Treat that as planned, not live.

What are the BANANA tokenomics?

The tokenomics page lists how the supply is split. Here is each row as the docs give it:

Table: Allocation, Tokens, Share, Notes from the docs

The page also says: "The token has no taxes (0%/0% buy/sell tax) and no transfer tax."

The table carries no date, so for live numbers use the supply tracker on Dune that the docs point to.

What is BANANA not used for?

The docs describe no staking use.

The docs also describe no governance or voting use, so do not buy BANANA expecting a say in how Banana Gun is run.

They give no price, market cap, APY or holder reward size either. If a site claims a yield for BANANA, it did not get that number from the official docs.

You also will not find a contract address or an exchange recommendation in the docs. The official links page at docs.bananagun.io lists none, so treat any address sent in a message or an ad as unverified.

How do you use BANANA with Banana Gun?

The simplest setup is to trade through the bot and let your lifetime volume build your cashback tier. Hold BANANA if you want to qualify for token holding rewards, and check the Rewards Dashboard for your current boost.
