TL;DR
- Elysium is a high-performance Arbitrum Orbit L2 built by Kinetiq, launching on mainnet November 9th
- It runs 100–200ms blocks, clocks in ~6x cheaper than HyperEVM, and uses HYPE as native gas
- Banana Gun will be live on Elysium from day 1
- Day 1 partners include launchpads, DEXes, and prediction markets
A New Mainnet Is Coming Soon. Here's Why You Should Care
Not every new chain deserves your attention. Most of them are copy-paste EVM forks wearing a new logo and a Discord full of promises. Elysium is not that.
Built by Kinetiq, the same team already embedded in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, Elysium is a purpose-built trading infrastructure layer designed from the ground up for one thing: speed. And it's got the benchmarks to back it up. Banana Gun is supporting it from mainnet day 1 (November 9th), so let's get into what this thing actually is and why it matters for your trades.
What Is Elysium, Exactly?
Elysium is an Arbitrum Orbit L2 chain that settles directly to HyperEVM and runs co-located with HyperCore. As Bankless puts it:
"Elysium is an Arbitrum Orbit chain that settles to HyperEVM and runs on HYPE, bridged 1:1, for gas, so users won't need a new token to transact. It's designed as a roomier home for trading apps, launchpads, and proprietary AMMs than HyperEVM, whose small blocks Hyperliquid keeps intentionally tight."
That last point matters a lot. HyperEVM's blocks are intentionally small, to protect HyperCore's performance. That means blockspace on HyperEVM is a squeezed resource. Elysium exists to absorb everything that needs more room to breathe: DEXes, launchpads, AMMs, prediction markets, and trading bots.
It's built on Conduit's rollup stack, which means battle-tested infrastructure underneath the hood, not some experimental scaffolding held together with duct tape and vibes.
The Numbers: Why Elysium Is Built Different
Let's talk specs, because that's what actually matters when you're trying to snipe a token before anyone else.

As Outposts reports:
"Community benchmarks on testnet showed ~0.27s vs ~1.7s to inclusion and ~5.8x cheaper transactions versus HyperEVM."
For a token sniper or a DeFi trader, 0.27 seconds versus 1.7 seconds is a big upgrade.
Pay Your Fees With $HYPE
One of the cleanest design decisions Kinetiq made: HYPE is the native gas token, bridged 1:1. You don't need to buy some new speculative gas token to transact on Elysium. If you're already in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, you're ready to go.
This dramatically lowers the friction for existing Hyperliquid users to migrate activity onto Elysium. and it positions the chain to inherit that user base from day one rather than starting cold.
The Day 1 Ecosystem: Who's Already Building?
The following partners are live on day 1:
- Nest — DEX
- Dawn — DEX
- Speculate — Prediction market app
- Montra — Launchpad
- Citadel — Launchpad
Two launchpads on day 1. Expect fresh token launches early.
HyperCore hooks, which are smart contracts that pull live market data and route orders directly to HyperCore, are arriving approximately one month post-mainnet via an ArbOS upgrade. Once those land, the composability between Elysium's speed layer and HyperCore's perps liquidity gets very interesting, very fast.

Banana Gun Support From Day 1
Here's the bottom line for our users: Banana Gun will be live live on Elysium from mainnet launch. What that means in practice:
- Faster execution : 0.27s inclusion times mean your bot is moving before most traders even blink
- Cheaper swaps : ~5.8x cost reduction compounds across every single trade
- Day 1 launchpad access: Montra and Citadel are live, meaning fresh launches hit your radar immediately
- Genesis positioning: being at the start of a new chain's liquidity formation is where the biggest opportunities live
